A little in depth look at the newly unveiled Apple iPad – Apple’s highly coveted tablet computer that some say has been in development for over 10 years. The device resembles the iPod Touch and iPhone and has the same one button, all multitouch screen interface, but runs a new, specially formatted version of the iPhone OS for the device, iPhone OS 3. 2. The SDK for OS 3. 2 came out today for Developers and soon iPad-specific apps will be out! Watch the video for a full look at the iPad and its many new features.

The thing that really gets me about the iPad is Apple’s pathetic excuse for excluding Flash. Sure, banner ads are annoying and Flash can cause crashes, but that would all be solved with a tiny and simple script that blocks all flash until clicked, like Flashblock.
Add to that the fact that you have to buy separate dongles for simple things like a camera, USB, or SD, Apple’s “we know best” App approval process, no multitasking, and its a no-buy for me.
Just my opinion, don’t get offensive.

I want my parents to purchase one for me, but they already bought my an ipod touch for my bday. Oh well! This new gadget seems pretty neat.
aww, Sammy is all jealous because I want one (Sammy is my laptop, and yes I give them names o.O)
anyway, they do look really, really awesome, but I can’t get away from the whole “oversized iPod touch” look. just have to wait and see, I guess ^-^
Ill be honest it looks awesome and i can really see that being the future. But the Iphone UI doesnt look right to me.
